Daniel Walsh
AI consultant, working worldwide. Certified by Google, Oxford University and MIT. I help businesses turn AI from a talking point into working systems and capable teams.
What I do
I work with owners, directors and leadership teams who want AI to do something useful — reduce cost, save time, remove risk — and want a straight answer about how. That work takes four forms: strategy sessions that set direction, hands-on implementation that ships working systems, training that upskills teams, and a fractional AI officer retainer for organisations that want senior AI leadership on tap.
How I work
Business first, technology second. Every engagement starts with your operation — where the hours go, where the errors happen, where the margin leaks — and only then asks what AI can do about it. If the honest answer is "nothing worth paying for", that is the answer you get.
Fixed scope, no surprises. Proposals are fixed-price and fixed-scope. You know what you are buying before you buy it.
Built to be owned. Whatever I build or teach is handed over documented, on mainstream platforms, so the capability stays with you rather than with me.
No reseller incentives. I do not take commission from any vendor. When I recommend a tool, it is because it is the right tool.
Credentials
- Google — certified in AI & machine learning.
- Oxford University — executive education in artificial intelligence.
- MIT — professional education in AI and its business application.
Certificates are the floor, not the ceiling: the practical experience comes from building and running AI systems inside real businesses — reporting pipelines, document processing, AI assistants and automated workflows that run every day in production.
Based in the UK, working worldwide
I work with clients across time zones, on video or on site by arrangement. Advice is grounded in strong data-protection practice (UK GDPR and equivalent frameworks), and pricing is straightforward and in pounds. Wherever you are, sessions are scheduled to suit you.
